Privacy
Privacy Policy
Yachting Revolution, LLC, doing business as YachtRev (“YachtRev,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects the privacy of website visitors and clients. This policy explains what information we collect through the YachtRev website, how we use and disclose it, and the choices available to you.
Effective date: July 28, 2026
Information you provide
When you request a private consultation or otherwise contact YachtRev, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, timing, area of interest, and information about the yacht, project, or decision you would like to discuss. A form submission is a private inquiry and is not posted publicly.
Please do not submit payment information, passwords, government identification numbers, account credentials, or other highly sensitive information through the website.
Information collected automatically
The website and its service providers may collect limited technical information such as internet protocol address, device and browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referral source, approximate location derived from network information, consent choices, and security or form events. Optional analytics cookies and similar technologies are used according to your consent choices where required.
How we use information
- Respond. Review inquiries, communicate with you, and arrange appropriate next steps.
- Operate. Provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and consultation process.
- Measure. Understand site use and consultation pathways without sending contact details or narrative form responses to analytics.
- Protect. Prevent spam, fraud, misuse, security incidents, and duplicate submissions.
- Comply. Meet legal obligations, enforce website terms, and protect rights, property, and safety.
Service providers and other disclosures
We may disclose information to service providers that support website hosting, forms, transactional email, security, consent management, analytics, search optimization, and backups. These providers may process information only as needed to perform services for YachtRev and subject to their applicable agreements and privacy obligations.
We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process; when reasonably necessary to protect rights, property, safety, or the integrity of the website; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate safeguards.
YachtRev does not sell personal information.
Cookies, browser signals, and third-party tracking
You may accept, reject, or change optional cookie preferences through the Cookie Preferences control. You may also use browser controls, although blocking essential cookies may affect website functions.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is not a uniform industry standard for responding to that signal, the website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. If optional analytics or third-party services are enabled, their providers may collect information about your activity over time and across websites or online services according to their own privacy practices and your applicable consent choices.
Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including business, legal, security, and recordkeeping needs. Legitimate consultation inquiries are generally retained for up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed for an active client matter, legal obligation, dispute, or documented business purpose. Spam and abandoned test entries are generally deleted after 30 days. Analytics event-level data is generally retained for up to 14 months.
United States processing
YachtRev is based in the United States. Information collected through the website may be processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Your privacy choices and requests
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information YachtRev holds about you, or ask questions about its use. Email Jack@yachtrev.com to submit a request. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request and may retain information where permitted or required by law.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The website is not directed to children under 13, and YachtRev does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. Consultation requests may be submitted only by individuals who are at least 18 years old.
Third-party links
The website may link to websites or services that YachtRev does not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices, services, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. When a change is material, we will provide additional notice through the website or by another method when required by law.
